Welcome to My Practice
My name is Dr Dominic Doyle - Clinical Psychologist and Psychotherapist.
Some people come to therapy feeling overwhelmed and knowing they need the space to understand what’s really going on. Others arrive uncertain - they just know something isn’t quite right or working.
I understand that choosing to see a psychologist is a personal and often courageous step. In reaching out, here’s what you can expect at my practice:
I offer therapy for individuals who aren’t just asking “How can I feel better right now?” but are also interested to understand “What's really the matter?”
Therapy isn’t about ‘treating a diagnosis’, it’s about understanding you and bringing meaning to your experience of distress or difficulty.
Together, we’ll work at your pace to explore what’s going on and start making room for change, healing, and emotional growth.
You don’t have to have it all figured out. You just have to begin.
What You May Be Struggling With
Perhaps you’re navigating a crisis, or feeling overwhelmed. Maybe you’ve been dealing with emotional difficulty for sometime.
I offer therapy for adults and older adolescents (16+) interested in a space for understanding, not just coping, and wanting to feel more capable to move their lives forward. If you are dealing with any of the issues below, you’re welcome to reach out. People come to see me when they’re:
Struggling with anxiety (including social anxiety, panic attacks, obsessions)
Feeling depressed (including sadness, feeling hopeless and lethargic)
Highly self-critical
Feeling stuck or unfulfilled, even if things “look fine” on the outside
Dealing with life transitions (i.e., graduating, becoming a parent, retirement etc)
Experiencing anger and emotion regulation issues
Lonely and isolated
Impacted by grief and loss
Dealing with strained relationships with friends, family and/or partners
Interested in a therapy that goes beyond symptom management
Seeking to understand themselves more fully
